Hotel Talaso Atlantico

This place is absolutely amazing, what a great hotel and spa. Lots of really nice people working here, too. This is a great stopping point along the Camino and you can spend some time in the spa and give your body the treatment it deserves. They limit the number of people in the spa area, so you have to pick a time if you are going to use it. This place gets very busy and it's super popular with the locals, so make sure to book in advance. They also rent bikes so you can ride into Baiona, which is roughly 2.5 km away along the coast on a very nice path. There is a very nice outdoor patio for lunch and dinner. If you have to eat inside in the restaurant, just know that they don't have A/C in there and it gets pretty hot with all of those people. Service in the restaurant is their only downfall, it's not very good, but the food is fantastic. I think they just need more staff to handle the restaurant, but it took forever to get food. But I will definitely be back to this hotel, it's a gem and it's super clean and quiet, great location, and amazing spa.

Good hotel, well located, close to Baiona, but far from confusion. With sea views, in a very quiet place, where you could sleep very well. Our room was very nice, spacious, modern, with an excellent bed and even above with balcony sea view. Staff very friendly and an excellent breakfast, with right to everything, mixed eggs and natural orange juice, something rare at present. I recommend.

We made a reservation at this thalasso to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary and we paid the full amount in advance. Unfortunately, the day before our arrival my mother got sick and it was impossible for us to go. We got in touch with the establishment to explain the situation and request, at least, a change of dates or some alternative, but they showed no flexibility or willingness to help us. We understand that there are cancellation policies, but in exceptional circumstances we expected more humane and understanding treatment. It is a great disappointment that, given it was a health issue and such a special celebration for our family, you did not want to offer any solution. We are sharing our experience so that other customers take it into account before making a reservation.
