Torre Do Deza Hotel and Spa

Our stay from August 14 to 16 was a real disappointment. Not only because of the number of incidents we had, but because of the lack of attention and the attitude shown by the staff. As soon as we arrived, at reception they barely gave us any information: they indicated where the spa was and handed us the room key, which did not work. Upon returning to report it, they told us that it “usually happens.” We asked for someone to accompany us to check if the problem was with the card or the lock and, to our surprise, the person at reception did not even get up from their chair. Finally we managed to get in and we found unbearable heat in the hallways. The room's air conditioning did not work correctly either and the fridge did not cool. In the middle of August, quite difficult to justify. We had expressly requested a large bed and we found two small beds pushed together. The pillows were quite uncomfortable and, if you wanted others of higher quality, you had to pay a supplement. Furthermore, the same soap served for hands, hair, and body, something quite basic for an establishment of these characteristics. In the room there were coffee capsules at €1.50 each and, in addition, we found several labels with different prices from previous occasions. We ended up removing up to four. A situation that conveys a rather neglected and not very transparent image. Since at reception they had explained practically nothing to us, we consulted the QR code in the room. Afterward, we went down to the spa thinking that we could access it, since they had indicated to us where it was. It was there that they informed us that it was necessary to book and pay €25 per person for 40 minutes of the circuit. We found out at the very moment we intended to use it. Another detail: smoking is not allowed in the rooms, but there is a terrace set up for it, and at night it wasn't even lit. The outdoor parking is free, but to use the indoor one you have to pay extra. Regarding the cafeteria and the rest of the services, I cannot give an opinion, because after everything that happened, I decided not to spend another euro at the establishment. And the most surprising thing came after we published our first review. The hotel called us, not to inquire about what happened or offer us a solution, but mainly to ask us to remove the review. Furthermore, we were told that when booking we already knew the location and that, if we hadn't read all the information, it was our problem. I consider that this is not a way to manage a customer's opinion. Problems can occur in any accommodation, but what makes the difference is how they are solved. In our case, the service, the information, and the subsequent management left much to be desired. We will not return, nor do we recommend it. After this experience, the feeling is that they charge you here even for breathing.

When there is a misunderstanding, in the end there is always someone who tries to fix it just say that they appreciate that

The hotel is excellent, we liked it a lot, basically we made life in the hotel, with the spa, we took the little girl during child hours, and almost every day. When we left the hotel, she wanted to go back to the pool. I don't think we had any sound problems, no temperature (as I read in other comments), or anything special. Super attentive in the buffet of gluten-free things. Suitable for people with celiac disease. We went with wonderbox. So... If you get one, this is a good place to redeem it. Looking forward to coming back. Ps: when we came in, there were 2 dogs coming out, so... Dogs accepted ♥️
