AC HOTEL PALACIO UNIVERSAL

Very disappointing We chose this hotel aware that it is a 4-star unit, but that does not mean that the level of service has to be so low. Unfortunately, our experience was far from expected. We found several details that conveyed a lack of care: the towels were misaligned and seemed to have been used, the conditioner packaging was empty, the bathroom toilet bags were mixed, there was only one pair of slippers in a double room and the kettle could not even be used where it was placed, because there was no nearby outlet. The breakfast was also disappointing. The pineapple had a dark appearance, the fruit juices weren’t fresh and there was not even ice available. The worst, however, was the attitude of an employee, Diego, who demonstrated an unacceptable lack of professionalism: he dragged the chairs loudly as he lifted the tables and came to turn his back when we were asking him a question. There are several small details that, together, reveal a lack of quality control and customer attention. Unfortunately, it was a much lower experience than expected and we cannot recommend.

Hotel excellently located and if you go by car, there is a paid parking lot in front. Small rooms and very uncomfortable beds, but it can improve.

Located opposite the port of Vigo and just 12' walk from the Center. A boutique hotel with a very contemporary decor. Room (303) Nordic style, table with 2 seats, exterior, TV XXL, open concept wardrobe, super bright (idem bathroom). This one, spacious, bathtub, super powerful dryer, qualitative toiletries (Korres). Buffet breakfast: large, Nespresso coffee, infusions, vegan and healthy proposals. Very pro staff. PS: the meeting room (-1) needs to be consistent with the rest of the hotel (old, lack of maintenance).
