Pazo Los Escudos

We stayed for a week in August 2026 as a couple and the experience has been bittersweet; it left quite a bit to be desired for a hotel of this category. The BEST thing about the hotel, without a doubt, is the views, which are very beautiful, and the setting of the pazo. The rooms are also large and very clean. The front desk staff is magnificent. The WORST part has been some members of the restaurant service; a great lack of professionalism is noticeable in some of them; it gives the impression that, since they are not qualified professionals, they do not earn a sufficient salary and that translates into them not serving the customer well. The response they offer is intolerable! The management of the employees should improve a lot if they want to maintain the level.

Don’t bring children!! The receptionists were hushing the children all the time and also sometimes if the adults was laughing and talking a bit load! When we try to talk to the receptionists, they were disrespectful!

We were there yesterday afternoon, having drinks at the bar with views of the sea, as we have done on other occasions when we attended Candlelight concerts there. A bartender attended to us after a long wait (there were no other customers) in a rude, impolite manner, and in a raised voice... We ordered drinks, Coca-Cola and Nestea, and when we proceeded to pay, the ticket showed two coffees: €7 charged to a hotel room number. Fabulous staff! I wanted to speak with the person in charge, but they did not let me; they were very busy. Congratulations on your terrible service and treatment!
