Aptos Punta Cabicastro

During our trip through Galicia, we stayed in more than 20 hotels and accommodations. We loved the region and did not have bad experiences in other hotels, but the stay at this hotel was one of the most disappointing. At first glance, the hotel seems acceptable. The room is spacious, well-distributed, and sufficient for two people, but it currently lacks maintenance and renovation. The experience started poorly from check-in: the receptionist was on the phone for quite some time without a glance, a smile, or a subsequent apology. Additionally, she made a mistake with the room number. I expressly asked if we had breakfast included, and the response clearly indicated that we did. The room, although spacious, did not meet expectations: the air conditioning was not working, the atmosphere was very stuffy, the bed was somewhat outdated, and the pillows were very hard. We had to open the windows to get some air. The breakfast was very basic: little variety and low-quality products. Additionally, the service during breakfast was not very friendly. The worst part came at check-out. Without a greeting or inquiry about our stay, the receptionist told us in a rather passive-aggressive manner that breakfast was not included and that we had to pay 24 euros. When I pointed out that we had been informed otherwise the day before, there was no apology or explanation. The main problem was not only the state of the hotel but also the lack of kindness, attention, and professionalism. In the end, instead of feeling welcomed as a guest, one feels almost like a customer under suspicion. That is precisely what one does not want during their vacation. In such a beautiful region with so many good alternatives, I cannot recommend this hotel.

in the month of September we stayed to spend a few days in the aparthotel, all normal until an incident with a mattress arises, which we notify the staff in charge and there is the thing, which is our surprise at checkout when we are made to pay said mattress, they say that we can not put the next customers, it is seen that we are not worthy of the same treatment for this person, which is the person in charge of the aparthotel, a middle-aged blonde lady, who exercised an unpleasant, high-handed, and ill-mannered treatment, it is seen that the charge comes very large, that is why while they do not have problems the stay will proceed without news, however, take care not to have any incident because the treatment is regrettable and leaves much to be desired, certainly a place not to return.

Very good location, hygienic, helpful staff, kudos to Salvador, beautiful gardens. Little upgrade in the bathroom. Such as grouting, a well-functioning hairdryer, a magnifying glass, and new toilet seat.
