It's not a hotel, it's a lodging. Very nice, clean and located in the main square, unbeatable. The nicest staff impossible. Highly recommended. The only bad thing is the stairs to access that make it inaccessible for people with limitations and to take the bags a little heavy 😅.

Fabulous apartment, with everything you need to spend a few days visiting the area. Location of 10 and the treatment of María Jesús is super close and answers any questions you have. I would repeat without hesitation.

The property is on the Plaza Mayor, with direct entry from the street. It is a historic building and surrounded by many others. We occupied room 001, which was very good for our small dog as it is the only one with a glass-enclosed terrace. He loved watching the people in the Plaza Mayor, below. The room is decorated in a traditional style and is very comfortable. The beds are quite firm, which is our preference. Cleanliness was of a high standard, particularly in the bathroom. In the evening, we were concerned about the noise from people in the cafes and bars below us, but we needn't have been. When we closed the wooden shutters it was suddenly very quiet, as if someone had switched off the outside world. The only negatives are that Ciudad Rodrigo is a nightmare for parking and the property has a long stone stairway to access the reception/rooms. Neither is a major issue for anyone able-bodied and both issues are fairly normal for a property in a protected area. The staff are very helpful. We were booked in by Maria, who took great care to ensure we had parked in a permitted zone. The city itself can be seen in a day. It has many old buildings in a good state of repair and is very beautiful. The walk around the city walls is 2 kilometres in length and fairly even.
