Ibis Salamanca

As a member and regular guest of Accor hotels, our experience at this hotel was disastrous. Woken up in the middle of the night by BED BUGS found in the room, we were forced to be moved at 3 a.m. with our baby. A very stressful and unacceptable situation, with obviously the fear of bringing some back in our belongings. Furthermore, the baby crib (not set up upon our arrival, even though it had been requested in advance by email) was not clean. A major hygiene and comfort problem that caused us a sleepless night. We had to take an extra night because it was impossible to get back on the road! The underground parking is extremely narrow: it is impossible to open our car doors properly. Good luck parking! We nevertheless acknowledge the management's commercial gesture regarding the refund of the first night (only...) and the parking. "Leftovers" from breakfast were also offered to us as an apology. We are very disappointed with this hotel.

Hotel 10 minutes from the city center. Easy access by car, parking is 11 euros a night, the spaces are small if your car is medium-large and it cannot be reserved, they have two floors, better to stay on the first if you find a spot of course. The room is small, we traveled with a dog and they gave us one on the first interior floor, you can hear the person next door. They charge a 10 euro per night supplement for traveling with a dog. The service was just okay. If you are only going to sleep, the price is appropriate for the service provided, the only thing is that the bottom sheet had stains. A detail they should check when putting them on. When we were leaving in the morning it was 11:00 and we took our suitcases down to the car to leave more comfortably at 12:00, we left the do not disturb sign and upon returning the girl was cleaning the room, I told her we were still there and she apologized. Since we were inside they knocked again to clean, which is not understandable if checkout is at 12:00.

The value for money for this hotel is excellent, right in the heart of the city, close to the historic center and having a parking lot. The room was clean, the bedding was good and the room was very functional, very well thought out. Very good for a two-star. The staff is welcoming, responsive, and very professional.
