Staying at the Don Felipe was a charming experience and was conveniently located near the Plaza Mayor of Segovia. The hotel concierge was kind and very helpful to us during our stay in Segovia, as well as our next destination point. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. We would love to return to Segovia and stay at the Don Felipe again.

Hotel very well located and with views of the Alcázar (if you request it when booking). Well soundproofed, but even so, I think it is still the hotel's location that determines the quietness.
The rooms are charming and well-prepared.
We had breakfast on the first day and it was not a good choice, because for the price of the breakfast it does not matter, (€9) what matters is the quality, that is, little and good. The scrambled eggs were super dry, the potato omelet was hard, the cold cuts were dry (they were not freshly sliced). I can say that the fresh fruit, the orange juice, and the coffee were very delicious.
In the rooms, there is no need to leave a new comb every day, but what was missing was a little body lotion. The towels had the typical sign about not throwing them on the floor for the sake of the environment, etc. I left them hanging and I found them changed anyway🧘🏻♀️🧘🏻♀️
Even so, the hotel has its charm and you can reserve a garage space.
We will recommend the hotel. Thanks💜

This is probably a review of two halves as my husband hated it and I loved it, however I am writing it. His problem started when his car was scraped by another one when heading round to the garage, however all is now well. It was also fiendishly hot, 36 deg, and the sun had been pouring into our room so he found the aircon pretty ineffective.
However... it was a truly exciting/ terrifying experience driving up into the old city round ridiculous bends into streets getting narrower and narrower. At the front door I hopped out with bags to the annoyance of pedestrians trying to get round the car, he parked and we checked in. Our room was pretty small as was the bathroom but for one night it was fine. It is also a 3* hotel so shouldn't be compared to the 4 and 5* Paradors we had been staying in. I wanted to be in the city which the Parador is not.
It is so close to everything and everywhere in the city, we had drinks and some lunch in the Plaza Mayor at the Restaurant Pandora, he went off to cool off and I went exploring... I am so glad we stayed there, it was so easy to walk round all the wonderful sites there.
