Booked through Booking.com for a week's stay in April on 6th January 2024 as this was a recommendation from Booking.com as an exceptional deal. Room was confirmed same day by the hotel. Made a polite email enquiry to the hotel for a recommended tour company to book a day trip to Ronda in late February, got no reply. Then on Saturday 2nd March got an email from Booking.com to say the Hotel had cancelled my reservation - reason given was overbooking. Appalling way to treat potential guests given that we had booked 2 months previously and secured the reservation with a credit card.

Reservation was canceled by hotel a week before visit. The reason for this was not stated. In Seville the hotel turned out to no longer be in operation. It may have gone bankrupt. Fortunately we had made a reservation through booking.com, otherwise we might have lost the money.

Hotel to avoid! At first glance, a very typical hotel and a very professional and pleasant welcome. On the other hand, once we arrived in the room, what a disappointment! In no way lived up to our expectations…. Impossible for us to spend 3 nights there. For a hotel that calls itself 4 stars, it's a shame. The walls are dilapidated and dirty, no sockets or lights next to the bed, no nightstands. A shower that really leaves something to be desired... which doesn't make you want to set foot in it... with a shower curtain... anything but hygienic. And corners whose cleanliness left us skeptical. We therefore did not spend any night in the hotel nor had breakfast. We announced our great disappointment at reception and asked for financial compensation, a refund, but this was refused. We are attaching some photos. Typical and old hotel does not mean dilapidated and dirty. A shame !
