The location of Hotel Un Patio en Santa Cruz is excellent, very close to the main sights and good restaurants. At the reception, during the morning, there is coffee, milk and biscuits available, which is a friendly detail. We stayed in room number 4, which had a fridge bar and air conditioning working well. The room was clean, but some points bothered us: It is facing the street on the first floor, and as there are restaurants right below, the noise was intense until around 23:30. Also, the conversations of those who pass by the street seem to be taking place inside the room. The noise did not just come from the street: the hotel staff themselves spoke loudly. In particular, on Saturday morning, the receptionist called out loud by the cleaner, who responded in the same tone, which greatly hampered our rest. The bed linen is small for the mattress and walked out easily overnight. In the room instructions, he drew attention to a warning asking to close the windows because, in case of theft, the hotel is not responsible. This left us insecure, as we understand that it can be relatively easy to enter the room through the windows. Also, on Thursday night we asked the receptionist to book a taxi, as we had to leave early on Friday. She said they would call the taxi on time, but when we got off on Friday morning there was nobody at the reception and there was only one message that she would be back, but it took a while. We had to go out to the street to look for a taxi, and we didn't miss the train, because we were going to visit another city. About the service: the reception staff were quite dry, while the cleaning lady and the receptionist were friendly. In summary: despite the good location and cleanliness, the noise, insecurity with the windows, the lack of organization with the taxi and the unwelcoming service made our experience not positive. It is not a hotel that I recommend nor would I stay again.

Room with a single window overlooking the reception, we only imagine the noise at night caused by the passage of guests and staff in the early morning, also the room was not soundproof at all. Apart from one guy working the evening shift at the reception, all the other colleagues proved to be unhelpful. The hotel is only recommended for its central location, not for the services it offers since supplements are required for services that should be included in the price paid (such as the ability to check in just before the indicated time, or check out shortly after). Unfortunately, given the experience, I will not go back.
