Parador De Carmona

We stayed at this hotel with our family -- 2 couples in their 50s (one 70) and 3 people in their twenties. It is such a beautiful hotel -- staying in a castle is fun! The rooms were well-appointed and atmospheric. The pool is down a steep hill side, so take your drink and food with you, because you won't want to climb back up! We had drinks on the terrace overlooking the beautiful fields and then dinner in the dining room. It was one of the best dinners we had in Spain and the service was lovely. Breakfast the next morning was equally wonderful, with fresh-squeezed OJ and cookies from the nuns in Sevilla. It was spotlessly clean. We did hear noise from the room above us (it almost sounded like someone was dancing) and a high pitched squeal from some electronic device, but fortunately they both stopped after about 45 minutes. Overall this is a great value for the experience.

As on other occasions, we used the Parador in Carmona as a stop on our way to our vacation in Cádiz. The parking lot in front of the entrance was recently repaired. It was actually better before with its stones. Now it looks like a supermarket parking lot. At the Parador, a ten out of ten for all the staff who attended to us. For the room. For the pool, for the food, for the breakfast..... Thank you very much for the stay. We will keep coming back.

a new stay that was still quite pleasant. very good welcome from a very professional receptionist. The Director was present to escort a supplier and made sure to greet the clients, so he also welcomed me. This shows that this establishment truly values hospitality and puts it into practice. One feels warmly welcomed from the very beginning. I had booked a superior room to have the balcony, and it is truly worth it given how beautiful the views are. The hotel is remarkably well-maintained. In this magnificent palace, one is transported back in time. One can only admire the work of the architects. The pool was very pleasant. A fantastic feature is that to protect from the sun, there are stone sunshades, which are therefore very effective. In short, two magnificent days in a city that deserves a visit for its beauty.
