Cap Salou

Great hotel for kids, the location isn’t great , very noisy in the hall ways at nights, rooms are grand and clean on a daily basis new towel given daily too, service at the bars was great but some of the reception staff are very rude, the pools don’t open until 10am , the main pool is always hot , the splash park and slides are great for kids, the private beach at the back of the hotel is excellent , having to walk through the hotel to get the main pool isn’t great , the tiles around the pool areas isn’t great as it very slippy people were always slipping which isn’t safe especially for young kids near the splash park, the lifeguards just sit around and don’t do their job. The hotel itself is very clean.

Great water slide area. If I had to find a fault, a pool at the end of the water slides would have been missing. Good quality food and drinks. We would come back.

Area is nice and quiet (visit into Salou itself showed us how busy it was a short distance away!) Lovely little cove beach which is right outside the hotel gates! Pools nice and clean although usual 10am rush for sunbeds! Slides also a bonus! Staff all polite and friendly and all 5 of our family were easily able to find something to eat at every meal. Rooms were good - comfy beds, decent bathroom, small balcony, air con a bit too efficient if anything! Other guests all friendly and we happened to be here on World Cup final day and it was amazing watching and hearing them celebrate and in a very family friendly way from what we could see! Would definitely recommend and we’ll be having a look at Best Hotel’s in other locations
