Very friendly reception, but from then on it went downhill.
Rooms are not large but clean, although noisy if you are on Avinguda de Jesús.
The air conditioning was a minus. It stayed awfully hot in the room. After complaining to the reception during the evening, it was resolved, but by morning it went wrong again.
At the reception we were told that we could order something in the restaurant and take it to the room, because my mother was actually not very well.
In the restaurant this was denied in a particularly arrogant way.
There we were told to order a pizza in the village if we wanted to eat in the room. We went to eat in the restaurant anyway, but because the air conditioning did not work, we went downstairs a little earlier. Again we were barked at. After we explained the air conditioning, we were 'allowed' to sit down and have a drink.
Half of the map/suggestions were not available. The food itself was ok and prepared with care. Service was chaotic, but at least the second garçon was friendly.
Breakfast: we chose breakfast in the cafeteria instead of the buffet. We order 3 croissants (which at the time of ordering, with no one else at the bar, were still available), by the time they brought it to our table, we were allowed to receive an apology because they had 'accidentally' given them to another (regular) customer. So I understand a mouthful of Catalan although I don't speak it, there was not much 'accidentally'.
Good for once, never again.
Unfortunately for the lady at the front desk upon check-in, she was a gem among the other nagging staff, but unfortunately I can't write a too positive evaluation.
