Location is exceptional close to all shops and beach. No sun bed wars. Kids club is great for kids of all ages. Food is lovely and bar staff were so good they even remembered my drink order. Pools are great for everyone. Cleaner always made sure our room was cleaned even if we woke late, she was a pleasure. Will be back next year for our 3rd year in a row.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Jaime I in Salou! The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the facilities were excellent, especially the swimming pools and entertainment for both children and adults. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the buffet offered a good variety of food every day. Overall, it was great value for money, and we would definitely recommend Hotel Jaime I to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing holiday in Salou. We would love to stay here again! Ingrid was amazing woth my little boy and explained about all the fantastic activities they have on.

The hotel room was clean and nice- looked newly refurbished and had no issues in the room with our stay. It was cleaned every day and cleaned well. Fresh sheets and towels provided. The pool was cleaned but I only went in the pool with the waterfall. I believe the other outside one is for kids mostly. The slides were also super fun as was the splash area. The all inclusive drinks were great- probably best I’ve had from an all inclusive hotel. Staff at reception and entertainment staff were lovely. However, I think some of the bar and restaurant staff could have been nicer. I don’t know if it was because we are english but sometimes it did feel like Spanish and non-British European guests were treated a little bit differently. Sometimes staff lacked warmth and it felt like they didn’t want to serve us. We were polite and respectful to everyone. I do think this is a hotel for Spanish holiday goers which is absolutely fine but not what it solely advertised, so I think staff behaviour should reflect this. Another disappointing thing was the entertainment- we went as a couple, knowing it was a family friendly hotel but under the impression it catered to adult guests too. The entertainment is solely for children- at 9pm there is a kids disco and then at 11pm there’s a club night which is advertised every night. This never happened. I think the entertainment staff sometimes go off there own schedule but what is on the website and around the hotel on screens is not followed. I was super disappointed about this- I would have loved a club night! The clubs in Salou were quite expensive and with all inclusive I thought a club night would be so fun!! Whenever we asked they said it had already happened- I think the kids disco might be the club night and they just did it earlier which again is not what’s advertised. So if you’re a couple looking for entertainment I’d look elsewhere. The restaurant area is chaotic in both restaurants. You are not given a table, just scanned in with wristbands and then you have to find a table which is chaotic and reserve it with a bag or something before you go and get food. The food wasn’t the best- me and my boyfriend are not picky eaters and we try everything but a lot of the food was cold, stale and just not nice. Overall, I’d love for the hotel to cater to adults a bit more especially in the evenings. I think there needs to be more direction with the restaurants and queueing situation. However, the drinks were great and the facilities were clean, and the slides and pool were super fun.
