Mariposa

Strap in its a long one - We booked via Love Holidays and was expecting Inter2Salou as per our booking but our room was in Inter Apartments Room 1413. Upon arrival at Inter2Salou reception at 01.30 the staff were friendly explained what we needed to know, we did have to pay £100 euros security deposit and £15 euros tourist tax per adult. We trundled across the road to our room, I was surprised we weren't staying in the main hotel, this wasn't explained on the Love Holidays website that they had an apartment block across the the road. The room - very very dated and basic nothing like any of the pictures and the air con wasn't working - all a very disappointing start to our holiday. The following morning I reported the air-con to the reception staff and they sent a chap out within an hour or so who fixed and - the rest of the week was nice and cold. The shower although old was really good and the beds were comfy. Everything just a bit old and in need of some TLC. Both pools don't open until 09.30ish so there's no sun bed hogging you just need to line up and walk quick! One is a family pool with lots of games/inflatables etc and the other no balls/inflatables also much deeper and better suited for swimming Food - is pretty basic but all fresh and hot and reasonable selection for all 3 sittings. The snack bar which opens 14.00 - 17.00 is pretty good. Drinks - Amstel on draft, soft drinks and a few cocktails are included along with coffee - the all inclusive does stop at 23.00 then you have to pay. Entertainment - in my opinion very dated and too loud the room isn't massive so no need to be quite so loud. The Entertainment team were all very friendly. We didn't really stay for the shows etc no our thing but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Location - brilliant for the beach and shops/supermarket and restaurants everything within a 10/15 min walk. Transfer - we were collected at the airport and had a nice coach the journey was about 90 mins, coach back to Barcelona was very nice and modern. The drop off and collection point for the hotel is a 5 min walk (so not outside) very easy to find. The hotel is advertised as a 2 star which is definitely is kind of had a holiday park vibe all that being said we had a really good holiday and we would go back. We paid just over £650 each in the UK summer holidays which was good value for money but if we'd paid more it was have been a bit disappointing. The weather was 30+ most days

It was not a pleasant experience, they charged €10 for a night check-in, without warning before the purchase about the amount they were charging after 8pm. On the booking website, I made the purchase after 8pm and was not warned that I would have to pay a €10 late check in fee.

This place is more like a Hostel not a hotel. They do not let any inflatables or balls in the pool.There is no bar or entertainment here also and you have to go across the road for drinks and food.But the main at the hotel inter2 they let anything go as there is no lifeguard so can get out of hand as people have bottles and food in the pool . The rooms are so dated and hardly cleaned. The food at the main hotel is ok. Entertainment is very poor as Sarah and Brian are so dull and lack any energy and mostly sat on their phones all day and if you lucky they might not be there if you go 🤞. I don’t know why people give good reviews about the entertainment as bingo and the same quiz every other day is not entertainment for us. The hotel staff gave 100 percent all the time.
