I stayed in the apartsalou michealangelo , salou Sunday 24th August 2025 It was a horrible experience. The place is REALLY dirty The bathroom stank of sewerage and the towels stank like half dried dishcloths. We had to use them because we came back wet from swimming at the beach. The 2 couches to sleep on in the living were unmade so I assumed I had to make them from the bed linen on the line on the balcony. These were wet so my son slept on 1 couch with my shirt over the pillow as a pillow cover and no bed linen. I went for a second pillow and I couldn't use it as it had blood stains on it stored in the cub board in the living area. We slept in our clothes and just got up and left the next morning. We were given a code remotely to access the building because reception was closed both on arrival or departing. There was a contact number in case of emergency which did not answer. I booked the property through booking.com and made a complaint IMMEDIATELY through booking.com when i came home august 31st. I asked for a full refund of €136. Booking.com gave a refund of €12.24. The Booking.com agent said he tried to contact aparthotel Michelangelo several times on the contact number given. After several attempts they gave up. That disgusting experience cost me 120 euro and I did not receive my refund. I was hoping for a full refund but it appears they don't answer the phone The blood on the pillow turned my stomach. I dont make complaints like this but its warranted on this occasion

DO NOT COME HERE. This is the worst holiday experience I've ever had. No communication from the property agency before arrival, they igmored my messages for weeks. Was told all check in instructions would be sent 24 hours prior, they were sent 5 hours before we were due to land so we were already at the airport with no WiFi or signal to access the link they sent for the key collection. So on arrival in Spain I had the added stress of trying to access data to get this link to work just so we could get in. No air conditioning as advertised, the unit did not work. Bathroom door handle fell off when shutting the door, this remains broken now because they ignore you on WhatsApp they do not care. When I demanded the air conditioning be fixed, she said I was overreacting and exaggerating - in 40° heat! They finally sent someone in the evening of the following day, likely only because I threatened them with the Hoja de Reclamaciónes. No WiFi as described, only building-wide WiFi which doesn't work at all, there's no router in the apartment. No oven, toaster or kettle yet its described as a fully equipped kitchen! I did demand they provide a kettle and toaster which they did. I was able to fry some eggs but had to get them out of the pan with a table spoon as there are no utensils to speak of. I asked about a safe before arrival, "we do not have a safe" was the reply. Well, a safe is one of the only things this apartment does have. The woman doesn't have the slightest clue what she's talking about. Tiles in the shower all cracked and loose, a dangerous hazard especially when there's no light in the shower to see what you're standing on. The most disgusting sewage smell throughout the apartment, and there are air fresheners all over so they know it's a problem. The pool doesn't open til 11am so if you have early rising kids don't think they're going for a swim after breakfast. Someone's baby sat on a seesaw with an explosion in their nappy which I had to point out to the lifeguard because no parent in sight. He proceeded to pour water from the pool on it and brush it off the seat onto the play park floor. That was it. Just vile. They did the same when a child vomited near the railings. If we get out of here without legionnaires or worse I'll eat my hat.

Despite the regular reviews on internet, we decided to give it a go. Once we arrived, we requested previously for pool view for the children and they gave us street view. We complained but they ignored it and did nothing about it. The rooms are very basic with tiny ensuite. Our shower was disgusting and I had to go to reception to ask them to clean it. On the second day, we discovered a lovely guest in our kitchen. It was a cockroach which I managed to get rid of. For third time I went to reception to complain about another issue. It's a very basic hotel, really noisy, you can hear everything in the corridors and outside. The air conditioning is a nightmare. No temperature control so when it's on it's just freezing and when it's off, the room is boiling. We only went to the beach once at the beginning and when we left the room, the floor still had sand so the cleaning is not very good. The good things about this hotel is the location, the food at the restaurant (except breakfast which is basic and not outstanding quality). The chef on the grill is friendly and the food over there is really nice and fresh. Always get a sunbed no matter the time of the day you go to the pool.
