Olimar II

We have been coming for 4 years in a row and this year we have noticed a decline in services; the restaurant, which was always incredible, has disappointed us a bit: vinegary gazpacho, very dry meat, and few fish options, and the room refrigerator does not cool. Of the 10 large pool umbrellas available, only 3 can be used because the rest are “broken” and padlocked. Reduction of pool hours and entertainment service… it is a shame that the essence that had lasted for so many years is being lost.

​We stayed on a full board basis from June 11 to 14, 2026, and to be honest, the experience pleasantly surprised us. We went with some apprehension because during these dates, it is common to have school groups, and we were a bit concerned about the noise, but the excellent offer we found in advance encouraged us to book. What a great decision. The hotel, a three-star, meets expectations perfectly. The facilities are good; logically, there are always details that could be improved, but one must value things in their proper measure and category. Regarding the food, from our point of view, it is very well done. Leaving home implies adapting, but here the offerings were good, varied, and had plenty of options to choose from. For us, frankly, it has not been bad at all. However, what truly makes a difference at the Olimar II is its human value. We had an issue with the air conditioning in the room, and the team's response was exemplary: they provided us with all the facilities and possible options to resolve it. Additionally, as a gesture of courtesy, they allowed us to extend our check-out time (which was set for 10:00) until almost 1 in the afternoon, enabling us to leave calmly and without haste. The treatment from all the staff, from the first to the last person we encountered, is extraordinary. Professional, approachable, and very solution-oriented. You have won us over with your attention and empathy. Thank you very much for everything!

Triathlon weekend this June in Tarragona and Cambrils, super comfortable in the apartment, fantastic pool, very good food, we will return.
