Aparthotel Bellavista Mirador

Very nice hotel, and excellent breakfast. Good value for money.

For the girlies: - My straighteners wouldn’t plug into the bathroom sockets, UK plug using an adaptor, the only place with a mirror I could do my hair was on the bed so either bring a heat pad for straighteners or a travel mirror. - hairdryer with curl attachment is included in rooms. - lighting in bathroom is terrible for make up lol. - no one dresses up for dinner etc here. Overall: Gorgeous hotel, so clean. Well done to the cleaning team, who are also so friendly. All the staff here are so lovely. Rooms are so clean and the beds are huge and comfy. I had to google how to change the aircon, just press ‘M’ and it changes between hot, cold and fan. No dressing gown included and they wanted 17 euro I think to use the safe for a week. These should be included, as should access to the spa. We didn’t pay to use the spa it was too expensive when there are free jacuzzis and a pool anyway. Gym was quite good for a hotel gym. I’m a fit 30 year old and I strugggleedd with the steps up/down to the main shops/restaurants. There are a few nice restaurants nearby though. There’s a service next to McDonald’s down in the main part which takes you to the Zoo for no extra charge. Get fresh proteins at dinner. Good variety and different dinners every night. Breakfast was pretty poor though. Great stay overall just a few included extras would really make it 5 star.

From the moment we check in to the hotel the staff could not be any nicer and helpful. The hotel was spotless in all areas with wonderful views from all rooms out over the Atlantic Ocean and down to PDLC. The beds were comfortable and large with plenty of hot water to shower with. The food in the restaurant was great with plenty of choice both at breakfast and dinner. Fresh eggs, omelettes cooked to order and a good selection of hot and cold foods. Dinner had plenty of choice steak, fish different meats and plenty of salads. Big thank you to Boris from Vigo the friendly waiter who ran after me with my glasses when I left them at the table. There are plenty of bars restaurants close by and it cost us approximately 5 to 6 euros in a taxi from PDLC up the hill to the hotel. Overall we had a most enjoyable and comfortable stay.
