Isla Baja Suites

Welcomed by Laura, owner of these 2 family houses gathered around a patio and a large wooden staircase. The rooms are magnificent: large, very cozy under a high ceiling made of varnished wood. The amenities (kitchenette, bathroom) are complete. The bedding with a sheer canopy is very comfortable. The position is central facing the seaside, in front of the Caleton with its pools where you can swim at any time, and close to the most typical streets of the village. For jazz lovers, fervent believers, or simply for those looking to immerse themselves in local life, the week from August 15 to August 21 is perfect: religious processions and jazz festival in a room right next door. Two days in February: A superb discovery. Impeccable accommodation, warm welcome, very decent breakfast and above all an incredible location, right in the center with sea views. Regarding negative opinions: If you don’t like creaking parquet floors, it’s hard to appreciate an old building full of soul. And for those who are disturbed by the noise of the road, there is no need to look for accommodation in the center with sea views... Thank you for the welcome and for this beautiful moment.

Our stay at Isla Baja Suites in Garachico in November 2025 was everything we hoped for—and more. Garachico is an absolutely gorgeous town, rich in history and charm, and the hotel’s location next to the natural volcanic pools makes it truly special. There’s a sense of calm and authenticity here that’s increasingly rare. The suites are elegant, spacious, and thoughtfully curated—comfortable without feeling overdone. Breakfast was fresh, light, and beautifully prepared, setting the tone for slow, relaxed mornings. What made the experience truly memorable was Laura Bier, the host. She is warm, attentive, and deeply human—our conversations with her were heartfelt and meaningful, making us feel less like guests and more like returning friends. We stayed for three nights, and it felt like a genuine reset from London life. Isla Baja Suites is not just a place to stay—it’s a place to breathe. We already look forward to coming back.
