Laguna Park 1 Apartamentos

1. Wifi is decent around pool, bar and reception. Non-existent in rooms. We stayed in a ground floor apartment right next to restaurant and pool, and it's amazing that you went from no wife to full wifi just by stepping outside, 2. Staff generally helpful and friendly, but you could tell some felt a bit jaded. 3. Not far from airport or beach, short walking distance to a lot of bars- overall, good location. 4. Rooms clean and tidy, cleaned every couple of days to a good standard. Contain fridge and free safe. Each room had ceiling fans in bedroom and living room. Decent showers. 5. Bar selection good, snacks nice but the all inclusive food was not great in terms of choice. Quality ok, but really limited options for vegetarians and children (I am neither). Breakfast was marginally better. 6. Evening entertainment consisted of Bingo and Karaoke. Michael was a charming, lovely guy but seriously hamstrung by the hotel. The Hall is stiflingly hot and in dire need of air con. All inclusive drinks ending at 10.30 is a joke. 7. Pool very cold at first, but you soon warm up. Sunbeds non adjustable and not the most comfortable. It's hard to recommend this as an an all inclusive hotel. The food selection during evenings is poor. I've seen some mentioning half board, and unless you're a serious day drinker, this may be the way to go.

my experience with the Laguna Park 1 was amazing and the staff where great and helpful

We stayed here for 10 days the last 2 weeks in June. It was brilliant value for money for what we paid. Food is okay, it tasted fine but can be repetitive and not much selection (same for most all inclusives I suppose) but it’s a great location to nearby bars and restaurants if you want to eat out at all. Our room was incredibly hot. No air con but 2 stand up fans in the room to cool down. Had to sit on the balcony or front room until the minute I went to sleep as it was so hot in the bedroom. The cleaners only come in every other day. Staff don’t say a lot but Michael the entertainment guy and Maria antoineta on the pool bar are an asset to the hotel. The best 2 members of staff! The evening entertainment room is downstairs next to reception and is very hot with no aircon or windows. We just went out every night Unfortunately the pool was closed off on the last day of our stay for maintenance. This was well needed as there were tiles missing all over and a couple of children cut their feet while we were there. I have seen a reply from yourselves saying that the travel agents and booking agents were informed of this to tell customers but we only found out 2 days beforehand when they put a notice on the pool bar. Kept the bar and snack bar open that day though which was good.
