The hotel is old but renovated; it maintains its old-fashioned touch in its courtyard (interior garden) and in the furniture. It is clean and the staff is super friendly and available (especially the coffee maker Oliver, who, despite my diet, did everything possible so that I could enjoy a hearty breakfast). As for location, the hotel is central, within reach of many commercial spots and restaurants. In conclusion: totally recommended!

It is a beautiful and charming hotel. I usually take advantage of this establishment's proximity to the Oktoberfest fairgrounds in Puerto de la Cruz to spend one night to avoid taking the car, and everything has been fine until now, but this time we took the opportunity to stay for the weekend. To begin with, the hotel is one of the oldest in Puerto de la Cruz and is in urgent need of a general update, such as installing air conditioning in the rooms, but what bothered us the most is that we had to shower with cold water during our entire stay, and when we informed the front desk, thinking it was something isolated and easily solvable, it seems it is something common and widespread due to the age of the facilities (according to the employees themselves). I will continue to attend to spend the night of Oktoberfest, but nothing more.

One of the worst hotels we have stayed in. We booked a suite and found an improvised room on the roof, with a broken lock and no security or privacy: from the street, you could see inside. The beds were very itchy and we later read numerous comments about the presence of bedbugs in the hotel's mattresses. The towels were very dirty and full of stains and the jacuzzi was yellow from the dirt, in conditions that were downright disgusting. The room had neither air conditioning nor a fan, something especially unpleasant with the heat in Tenerife. The breakfast was pathetic: there wasn't even any fruit. We had to ask one of the cooks to give us some bananas and she only gave us three, saying it was an exception. In short, a lack of hygiene, zero security, facilities in terrible condition, and a pathetic breakfast. One of the worst hotels we have stayed in. We will not return, nor do we recommend it at all.
