Definitely value for money. Apartment was clean and fully air conditioned. Obviously the location is a taxi ride away from Fanabe but that didn't bother us. The pool and sunbeds are clean and no such thing as "Sunbed wars". The bar staff are really friendly and very hard working. The pool is spotless and the grounds are very well maintained. If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful break it's definitely worth a try if you don't want to be in the centre of Fanabe. Taxi normally 6 to 7 euro one way to Fananbe. Not far from Siam Park or shopping centre in a taxi.

We have just returned from a 9 night stay at the Panoramica. When we first arrived we were dropped off at the bottom of the hill and had a real job of trying to find reception to check in. It really is not signposted very well and we had to stop and ask other holidaymakers for directions. Once we reached reception we were greeted by a friendly young lady and was given the key to apartment 31 which was a 3 bedroom apartment. It was clean, spacious and the air con worked very well in all of the rooms. Prior to arriving I had emailed the hotel and asked for mattress toppers after reading reviews. They were on all of the beds and can honestly say I found the bed comfortable.
We headed straight to the pool bar for food and ordered some pizzas which were good. I did notice to my horror while sitting waiting for the food that the pool area was running alive with cockroaches (and I mean at least 10 were seen within a 30 minute period). Thankfully they very rarely made an appearance during the day! We found 1 in our room but had some spray to sort it.
The pool was sufficient but there is not much going on, just music played by the bar staff. There was one troublesome guest who caused some issues for the staff and other guests due to too much alcohol. He was absolutely paralytic, vomiting down himself by the pool (this was in the morning!!!). The bar staff discreetly cleaned it up and banned him from the pool area (I think he may have been removed from the hotel as we did not see him again).
There were no sunbed wars as there are more than enough which was good.
On to the bar staff, they were a really good, hard working bunch. The bar prices are extortionate. A small bottle of water is €2. If you go downstairs to the little shop you can pick up a big bottle for €1. For comparison, bottles of water in the shops by the beach are only 70 cents.
The views are lovely but the location really lets this hotel down. You can walk down to the beach but it is not a pleasant walk. We would call reception and have a taxi booked for us. Coming home from the Fañabe area of an evening was a bit of a nightmare trying to get a taxi and it did put us off going out.
For a 3 star you couldn’t grumble for the size of the room and facilities within it. The staff are very pleasant but if you want to visit other areas the cost soon racks up. In 9 nights we spent approximately €150 in taxis. Would we stay there again? No, but purely due to the location.

The taxi service do not like coming to this hotel, probably because it's on a steep hill. Our last night here we were looking to go out to the promenade , waited 1 hour 20mins for a taxi not to turn up. Ridiculous.. the lady in reception very unhelpful 20.32 pm Sunday August 9th. Bar staff were nice, although the prices in the bar were shocking, also prices in the mini market were awful. If you have a room directly underneath where the sun loungers next to the pool , good luck , clattering of staff putting the loungers away at 11/12pm and first thing in the morning.Beautiful views from the hotel, room was clean(ISH) apart from toothpaste flashes on the mirror.
