Unacceptable gastronomic standards at totally disproportionate prices. Each dish arrives scarce, poor, and without any added value. On an island as rich in nuances as El Hierro, this restaurant stands out for being an authentic temple to mediocrity. The service, slow and without any rhythm: the main courses came out minutes apart for diners at the same table, so some of us finished while others were still waiting for their turn. A lack of coordination unbecoming of a Parador. To top it off, bread is charged separately, and even then you have to almost beg for another slice when it runs out. A detail that is unnecessary in any restaurant, and even more so at these prices. And if you go with children, you had better look for another option: the children's macaroni could not be a worse introduction for any family with minors. Neither care nor flavor. In short: a culinary disaster that is not up to the standard of either the setting or the price. To be avoided at all costs.

The room with a sea view is very relaxing, with the waves crashing against the rocks. The hotel is cozy. The staff is friendly. Breakfast with local products. 20 minutes from the airport.

We have been three friends, eight days on half board and it has been a fantastic experience. In reception, Jorge, Alejandro and a Galician/Canary girl who attended us wonderfully. The rooms, with sea views are spacious, comfortable with the bathroom a bit old but serving the same. The restaurant is a separate case. A real luxury to put in the hands of Yeray, Carla or Fernando who also as good herreños, explain everything you need to know about fishing, excursions, trails, etc. It's very worth taking half board. It's the best restaurant on the island, long. A very acceptable wine list and always willing to please you. Breakfast with fresh cut fruit, natural juice, and the possibility to ask for any whim. The cooks, very high level. The location is idyllic, so there is not much doubt about the choice.
