Concordia Playa

This hotel is not as advertised. The photos are not a true reflection of its condition. The air-conditioning doesn't work. it leaks in the dining area dripping onto tables and food. In our room mould covers the wall and ceiling around the unit. The balcony doors don't slide easily or close properly. No fridge or tea/coffee facilities in the room as advertised. Although the tv is a smart tv this facility has been disabled. The whole hotel is shabby and poorly maintained, could do with some TLC. There is a small pool with friendly lifeguards who are happy to entertain and interact with swimming children. Loungers are uncomfortable and stiff to adjust. Staff are friendly and helpful when you ask but there is a real lack of information about the hotel, nearby attractions or facilities unless you specifically ask. Most hotels provide at least a small guest guide in your room, there is no such thing here. Rooms are cleaned daily but not to a high standard although we did have a linen change halfway through our weeks stay Its in a good location, close to the beach, saltwater pools and many bars, shops and restaurants. But overall we would not recommend or stay here again.

Let it be said upfront that the two stars are for the staff, who are wonderful, especially the blonde receptionist who is a delight. The hotel is not 4 stars. There are constant problems with the air conditioning, which does not cool. The food is what you might find in a school cafeteria. And the facilities are old and half-renovated. We found a cockroach in the room and another small one in the buffet. Spend €200 more and go to another hotel.

It is okay, although a renovation would not hurt at all. And a fresh coat of paint for the rooms. The food was good.
