Hotel Rural Finca Salamanca

A typical and original hotel. Pleasant welcome and smooth communication. The room was a suite with a separate living room, bedroom, and a magnificent bathroom. Half board is highly recommended with a choice of appetizer, main course, and dessert from a very tempting menu (we regret only staying for 3 days). Very quiet and relaxing place. A must-see!

The stay was okay and unfortunately nothing more and not like it used to be. The staff was very nice, but there was no sign of relaxation. Children were romping around at the pool, jumping into the pool again and again with their parents and screaming. Some guests left after a few minutes as a result. There was no one from the hotel there to handle it. Dinner was delicious, but it took over 2.5 hours and the waitress kept forgetting something. Be it the menu for dessert, the coffee, or the bill. We sat forever in front of the dirty plates. Other guests with a set menu were finished in an hour, since they had a different waiter. At breakfast we were not greeted and there was no space for 3. After waiting 5 min we pushed the tables together ourselves. When the waiter came he asked other guests if they wanted something extra, but not us. I had to look for him to order a fried egg even though there was still 45 min of breakfast time left. Everything was already very empty and although 6 other guests came, nothing was replenished. At departure they asked how we found it, when I said okay, only an ah okay came back. No follow-up question or reaction as to why one only found it okay. If one only wants to achieve an okay, then that is a real shame. We considered whether we would visit you again from time to time in the future. But after the last experience, we will look for something else.

Absolutely nothing wrong: the establishment is perfect. Located in the heart of a superb park, the "finca" is quiet, has its swimming pool, a high quality restaurant at affordable prices, very pleasant accommodation. The staff is very efficient and just as friendly. Lots of parking spaces and a bus stop right at the entrance of the establishment.
