We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is lovely, very modern and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful- from the reception team to the restaurant team. The only downside for us was being in the room immediately next to the restaurant meant it was very noisy from early in the morning when the staff come to set up, until late at night when we unfortunately had rowdy drunks running up and down the corridor shouting until about 4am so we didn’t get much sleep while staying there.
The buffet choices were amazing, I’m a vegetarian and I found there to be plenty of variety. The food was really tasty and the desserts were amazing.
Some tips if you are visiting:
- bring some euros in coins as you will need a deposit for the poolside bar cups
- there’s no need to rush for a sun bed, there are plenty available even late in the day
- don’t rely on your usual weather apps, google the local forecast as the mainstream ones don’t take into account the mist/cloud from the mountains
- there is no aircon in this hotel, so bring a handheld fan!
- don’t leave your possessions on the floor in the rooms, there are cockroaches
- make sure you check out the lagoon down in the town, it’s amazing and only a couple of euros to get in
- other than public transport or a taxi, there’s no way to get to the south apart from the Siam Park bus
- make sure you visit the rooftop bar! It’s not included in the all inclusive package but is excellent value for money.
- if you want to watch the evening entertainment, go really early to reserve seats as there’s not many available compared to the huge amount of people who want to attend
-sometimes the restaurant is closed and you need to use the one in the hotel across the road, if this is the case go nice and early as it is unbelievably overcrowded over there
