Panoramica Heights

Thought I would start with the negatives, our apartment was on two floors, the downstairs was a bedroom, lounge kitchen diner, very dull so we never sat in the lounge area, we used the balcony as our living area. For being self catering it lacked a few things, very few pans, no draining board for doing the dishes, we even had to buy washing up liquid and clothes, no oven. The walk back up from the bottom was horrendous in the heat as it is very steep as it takes you 522 meters above sea level.. it was advertised as having a restaurant which was closed when we got there. No night entertainment Positives Fantastic views , friendly pool bar staff, very clean, pool side food, typical bar food but lovely, has a good and reasonably priced little shop on sight, couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the place , even room service when they came folded my husband’s clothes, ,

Each to their own everyone has there own opinion but for me and my son who is here just now for 7 days we have had nothing but a lovely experience so far and still have 4 days to go. No fights for beds in the morning and the views are breath taking. All staff I have met have been pleasant and have said hello every day. No issues with bugs but honestly you come here a place very warm you expect to see some!! The food at the snack has been delicious so far and the supermarket has been reasonably priced in my opinion. Rooms are clean and basic but everything you need. Only gripe is the steep hill leading up to the apartments!! If not physically fit then this place won’t be for you but hasn’t put me off lovely walk down and if we wanted got a taxi back. We stayed here for a week on vacation. The first two days were fine, but then the misery started. The sofa bed on which my children had to sleep was dirty and clearly not cleaned properly. The biggest problem, however, was the cockroaches. We have seen several cockroaches both outside and in our room. My kids were so scared they barely wanted to sleep. I had to reassure them and convince them that the cockroaches were gone. In addition, we found the lady at the reception very unfriendly and not welcoming. This made me feel uncomfortable to file a complaint. I didn't want a confrontation during our vacation and that's why we left it at that. The only positive thing about this hotel is the beautiful view. Unfortunately, for us, that is absolutely outweighed by the poor hygiene, the cockroaches and the unfriendly service. For us this was a big disappointment and we would not recommend this hotel.
