The hotel looks much nicer on the pictures than in reality. We felt deceived. The room we got was small, old furniture and old shower, and very hard beds. We experienced the hotel as old. There was only an old and cold pool available as we were there in the winter. I've never experienced such bad hotel breakfast before. Luckily we didn't have dinner at the hotel. We had to go down some kind of hill to get to breakfast - the salen. There was a lot of weeds around this path and it looked decaying and depressing. Some of the people who worked at the reception were nice, but half looked upset and were unaccompanied. The day we were going home we had to leave early and therefore did not reach breakfast. We explained this in advance to those who work at the reception. They smiled and wrote down when we were leaving the next morning and said they would arrange breakfast in their own room for us. Well, all they had put forward were some bananas, mandarins, juice and dried biscuits. Absolutely ridiculous. It couldn't be called breakfast. I don't think hotel - the stay was worth the price at all, and the hotel really doesn't deserve 3 - stars!

We have just returned from 9 days staying at this hotel. Very basic. Rooms are ok, very dated. Hotel grounds are lovely, although limited to some areas due to on going renovations. We paid for half board, breakfast and dinner, (although my teenage sons got told one morning they are only allowed to eat once a day on day 5 of the holiday!). The food was diabolical. Bland, sometimes grey looking. The entire restaurant was in chaos each morning and evening, no real system in place for guests, felt a little like a cattle market! No where to sit as large group (there were 8 of us in total). Tables where geared up for either 2 or 4 people so often, unless we got lucky and found two 4 tables, we all ate separately in groups of 4 or 2!. Now this is the bit that was unreal. My 10 year old daughter is coeliac, quite severely,. Absolutely not geared up for GF AT ALL. Some of the food was GF but cross contamination was a bit problem. When we spoke to the waiter/Manager about this issue, you got a distinct feeling you were being 'problematic'. I think they 'eye roll' from one of the Managers led indeed contributed to that feeling! (Who the hell 'eyes rolls' when you query a severe allergic reaction)! This poor kid pretty much lived off the odd bit of melon, salad leaves, cucumber and basic scraps! Untill I eventually (and mean 'eventually' found a supermarket that sold the basics of GF food so I could cook for her). NOTE: Tenerife as a hole does not cater well for GF, including in the south of Tenerife. We found the a mix bag when it came to the staff. Some where nice, friendly, others, one in particular, and older waiter, shouted at people. Brisk, rude, down right un courteous. Lastly, shower in room 512 on the 5th floods like a bugger if you leave the shower running for more than 2 minutes ( as we discovered) .. oh and on day 8 the sliding patio door handle came off in my hand as I tried to open it! Thus, no more balcony time! On a serious note. If you have a severe allergy I tolorence, then Tenerife, my lovelies is not for you!

My boyfriend and I spent a week at this resort in July, choosing it mainly for the excellent price offered by the platform, decidedly lower compared to other properties in the area. We arrived around one in the morning and the 24-hour reception made check-in convenient and fast. Upon our arrival, they offered us the property's indoor parking, which is divided into two areas so you can always find a spot; instead of the standard rate of 49 euros for seven days, they applied a discount, making us pay only 42 euros, a gesture we appreciated very much. The location of the resort is slightly on a hill and outside the center; for those traveling by car, it is convenient and allows you to reach everything in a short time, but for those on foot, it turns out to be really difficult to reach and inconvenient for getting around the island. The complex is truly huge and, unfortunately, a bit neglected: it would certainly deserve a major renovation. There was an unpleasant and persistent smell of sewage in the hallways and on the room floors and, unfortunately, the negative reviews we had read about it were confirmed; also, regarding the room layout, we found old details, broken pieces, and traces of mold, especially in the bathroom. Our studio with a kitchen was fairly clean and the Wi-Fi connection worked well, which was a great plus. Before leaving, we were a bit scared because of the noise read in other reviews, but in reality, it is very quiet in the evening and we always rested without problems. The room was also equipped with a good blackout curtain for the sun; the only small note about sleep concerns the soundproofing, given that you could hear the noises of other people a bit, but overall in this respect it went well (ah, there is no air conditioning). For meals, we chose the half-board option. Breakfast is approved, varied, and with a good selection, while dinner often turned out to be repetitive and not very suited to Italian tastes, even if in the end we always managed to find something to eat. Important note to keep in mind: water is not included in the half-board and, to avoid paying a high price for it every night at dinner, we were forced to buy it at the supermarket to bring it from outside. The property boasts three pools located in different spots: one on the ground floor near the paddle court, with a convenient bar next to it for a snack, one on the fifth floor, and one on the tenth floor reserved for nudists. They are a bit laborious to reach, probably because they are located for convenience based on the area where you are staying, but for this very reason, they are never too crowded. There is no entertainment for children, even though several families were present. In conclusion, we recommend this property for a low-cost stay, but on the condition of renting a car and knowing how to turn a blind eye to the condition of the property.
