Very bad service... long wait between courses... instead of hiring more people... fewer people and better service

Beautiful castle with phenomenal views. There is a village attached to the castle that is nice to walk through because it is built in the same stone as the castle. The rooms are renovated, spacious and fully equipped. We didn't love the restaurant and there was a waiter who didn't smell fresh and didn't look very fresh either, but did meet us professionally. Talk to the manager maybe? There is little to do in Alcañiz and surroundings except the castle

A very pleasant stay. Restaurant, cafeteria, and breakfasts are perfect. Excellent staff. Also, the musical evening was a surprise: a great selection of songs very well performed. Overall, then, looking forward to returning in the future.
