Very rude and unprofessional staff. Ready to charge your card not explaining the rooms conditions . The front desk person if I can call her that doesn’t know anything about rooms and reservations and she make you feel like whatever. Never apologize but feel offended. No communication at all or guide to the apartments. Not waist your money . Better to pay a nice place in the city . The only start I can rate is because the location to the beach . Thank you for nothing . Very dirty place

Very large and very old complex, no one explains anything to you, you have to guess where and how things are, the Dept. stair 4 Dept 1 _ 3 was honestly very austere, the beds were very bad, they were cots, otherwise it had little but everything and it was large. No luxury. Dishwasher and washing machine. Coffee maker. Microwave. The Holliday office was very bad, they did not accompany us. We took 1 hour to enter, and after asking we arrived at the apartment. The parking was 700 meters from the elevator. Very difficult to enter and exit. The truth is that the office is only there to collect payments. They do not resolve anything and do not care about anything. They only collect payments. We would not return; we slept very poorly in the apartment. The beds were very bad. The rest, pool, courts, restaurant, and access to the beach were very good.

It's true that the apartments are not all created equal. i had the penthouse, and had no complaints, the outfittings were all decent, it's not luxury but it's very functional. It was clean, the shower and hot water works, and all the appliances were in good shape. Be aware that this is definitely a holiday apartment, self catering, there is a coffee machine but no capsules, bathroom but no soap (there are two small tubes of cheap gel and shampoo but the quality is low) , there is no toilet or kitchen cleaner, there is a laundry machine but no detergent, etc etc. On the other hand, they do provide all utensils, kitchen towel (and all other towels), as well as dish detergent and sponge. You have to come prepared. The facilities in the resort are ok. The tennis court and three padel courts are in good condition and easy to book -- just get the key at the office. The pool is great. It's very large, and the middle is deep so that no one hangs around in the middle (meaning you can actually swim) . Alas, it only opens from 11 am and closes early (8 pm ) too. That's not good enough, but you can't do anything about it. The gym around three decades ago was very good. Currently the equipment is rusting, some are broken , or are so old that you don't want to touch it. It's good for a few days, not longer (there is an excellent Basic fit around 1 km south). As others have noted, if you book throught the letting agency, you have to go to Holiday Patacona office to collect the keys and instrucitons, and then proceed three blocks to the actual resort to find your building number etc. It could take 20 minutes and if you have luggage, you must plan accordingly. Overall, i had an excellent experience at Patacona apartments. you just have to be flexible.
