Hotel Albatros

We really enjoyed the hotel, its views and its staff. Very good service in all areas of the hotel. Its location on the island is perfect to combine the enjoyment of the sea and the palm city. We'll be back soon!

Hotel with about 50 rooms with a very good location. The reception staff are all women, very professional, pleasant and empathetic. A girl's charm. This is very important in hotels because they are the "showcase" of the establishment. They advise you, they gladly guide you in everything you need. Likewise the rest of the staff, always willing to please. And the work of the cleaning girls is commendable. Everything was spotless. The hotel has everything you need. A small dining room, in keeping with the size of the hotel, with a quite acceptable buffet breakfast and although we did not use it, it has a swimming pool. The promenade and beaches and restaurants are very close. A bus line 50 meters from the hotel takes you to the center of town which is about 5 kilometers away. The quality-price ratio: good. It is not very difficult to park in the area, at least at this time of early June. In short, a recommendable hotel.

I want to comment that I am a regular customer of Barcelo hotels and have never had any problems. During this stay at the Barcelo Albatros the following happened: 1.- Book a superior room with side sea view. The website indicates that this room has, among other things: Renovated bathroom (the bathroom was very old from the 90s), king side bed, (the bed was 135) latest technology in bathroom with rain effect (none of this was there) bathrobes and slippers (there was nothing in the room). The worst thing of all is not that there was any of this, but that the reception tells me that the room is correct, I tell them that that is not what it says on the website and they very rudely tell me that they don't care what it says. that's how it is. I tell you that my room is not the one indicated (on the website it also says from 25m2) the room was barely 20m2. They insist that everything is correct and that only the suite has bathrobes (you can see on the page that this is not the case). The staff is very very incompetent, especially a young girl and a boy who did everything. This equipment is not up to par with the Barcelo hotels. They take great advantage of the lack of knowledge of the client who is mainly foreign, but it is not the image we have to give. They had other failures that I prefer not to comment on, the room is 524. What surprises and bothers me the most is that instead of getting upset and seeing on the website that I am right and asking me for a simple apology and looking for a solution, they treat you badly and insist that you are wrong. Barceló should not have workers so they are not up to par. This was today, October 2, at 9:30 in the morning, which was when these 2 kids (boy and girl) were at the reception desk.
