Galaroza Aparthotel Rural

This family run rural aparthotel is ideal for anyone seeking a quiet relaxing holiday. Additionally, its location is a walker’s paradise in the Sierra de Aracena. I can confirm that my stay was enhanced by the knowledgeable and friendly manager, Señorita Pillar and her staff. The healthy local food was freshly prepared for each meal. As a non-Spanish speaker an accurate description of the dishes was provided in English by Pillar.

Stayed here with a group of 19 from the UK on a walking holiday organised by Nordic Walking Fit, Dorset. This is a small Hotel near the centre of the Galaroza, a perfect Spanish village to use as a base for walking the amazing trails nearby. The Hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms are decorated to a high standard - traditional and a bit rustic. Some might say "basic" but it has everything you might need. The bed was very comfortable. Very nice swimming pool. I hope to stay here again in the future. Breakfast was a bit different to the usual British tastes - nothing cooked and no cereal or fruit juice but no doubt if you wanted more you could ask. They were very accommodating to our wishes.

We have two members of our family that are allergic to dust. I must say that the room was so clean that nobody sneezed while we were in the hotel, so that's a good sign! The apartment was big enough for the four of us. It had plates, glasses and all the silverware needed. The only thing that lacked was some kind of dishwashing liquied so we had to buy it at a nearby supermarket. Another thing that we liked was the shower water pressure. It was just perfect and not like in other hotels that there's no pressure at all while you're taking a shower! We had breakfast outside at an exterior courtyard with incredible views of the village. It was very quiet there and we could hear nothing but the birds chirp around us. Breakfast was the typical Andalusian one so it was ok for us. The staff people were nice and always with a smile on their faces. So we would definitely return to this hotel if there's another chance to visit the area!
