NH Villa de Bilbao

I was at a children's soccer tournament in June that took place in Bilbao. When I arrived, I asked about the parking and I was not interested. The surprise came when I received a ticket for entering a low emissions zone, as the hotel is located in that area and no one from the hotel informed me of this fact. When I called the hotel to request documentation that I stayed there, they told me that since I did not park the vehicle in the parking lot, they could not provide it. That is why I do not recommend this hotel, unless you park your vehicle in the hotel parking, because otherwise you will receive a ticket and they will not justify your stay on the date of the ticket.

Good hotel, clean and with spacious rooms. Excellent location, quiet and close to a public parking lot

Check in was efficient and pleasant staff. The hotel has no pool. The rooms are a little worn out. Hotel has a bar and restaurant. The à/c in my room didn’t work. I didn’t bother asking for a new room. It’s a wonderful location for restaurants and shopping. I would caution many tourists there is a high risk of getting your pocket picked or watch taken. I personally witnessed a group trying to set me up for my Rolex. I alerted the hotel ànd they don’t employ any security. Overall à 3.5 /5.0 hotel. The staff are wonderful and speak different languages.
