Grand Ella Motel

Very disappointed. We booked this place for April 2020 holidays during February 2020. We were told by the guy that we have to pay an advance of 10,000LKR and we paid the advance payment. Afterwards when the situation got worse with COVID 19, we could not go for the trip as the country was under a total lockdown till June 2020. Since we were unable to go for the trip, I requested the guy (Krishantha) to return the money which we paid but he always kept giving reasons. Since I was forcing by calling always, we got a deposit of 5000LKR only however the balance 5000LKR has not yet been given to us by Krishantha or the hotel management. I’ve been following up with them for the past few months to date however Krishantha is always giving reasons. Everyday i hear Krishantha saying “heta salli dannam” which I have got fed up of it. I would really appreciate that the management reads my review and contact me to refund the balance 5000LKR. Everyone who is making advance payment, this is an awareness to all of you. Please be cautious.

We were there on 1st sep to 3rd sep 2020. Location is perfect. Foods are delices.grate support we got from staff and Friendly staff. The villa not very clean place. Ella to villa verde pumping road. They must improve security and privacy

If you want to escape your daily life for a couple of days and just be surrounded by nature and the most beautiful landscape and views, Villa Verde is exactly the place you should go to. We spent three wonderful days there and were treated like princesses during our time there. The stuff and the manager are very friendly and do their very best to fulfil every wish of their guests. Moreover the food is fanatstic! The chef also gave us a cooking class for free. The pool and the rooms are very clean and embedded in a magical setting. Thanks again to the stuff for all your efforts and for making our time at Villa Verde so special.
