The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area is nice but I have to say the sister hotel in the Royal Swazi spa was so much better. We took the free shuttle there and the views are beautiful and such a peaceful setting. We had a drink by the pool and ate in the chinese restaurant there, it was really nice. The area surrounding both hotels is beautiful and safe to walk during the day from one hotel to the other.

The rooms are spacious and offer an exhilarating comfort and serenity. The food is excellent although the internet connection in the furthest room is poor that needs to be sorted. The location is excellent and in an accessible place from both directions to the two major cities of Eswatini.

LOCATION   Right next to the Royal Swazi Spa, this is the sister hotel, managed by the same company (SUN). They have frequent shuttle buses between the 2 hotels and the casino at Royal can be visited this way.   LOBBY   A warm arrival is given with free iced lemon tea drinks next to the reception with glasses in the cabinet. There is a curio shop African Queen on ground floor selling Eswatini souvenirs. The elevator is Otis with old style rectangular shape servicing the ground and 3 floors. Considering the age of the hotel, the maintenance is good and one can appreciate the TLC. Well done to management, as the upkeeping of an old hotel is no easy task.   SERVICE   Housekeeping, reception and security satisfactory.   ROOMS   Rooms clean, spacious with comfortable beds with the old-world bathroom design of shower over bath. Bathroom amenities use AKRIKINI brand of BESPOKE (Johannesburg) with a cute Africa shaped soap. Only one bar provided. Tea (2 teabags) and coffee with kettle available, however one should wash the kettle first, as there were ants.   No fridge. The second room we had only had one teaspoon instead of two and was missing the laundry bag. Use the www code for internet access. Speed satisfactory, although sometimes one may need to re-log in.    There are interconnected rooms for families and room to room dialing must add 4 to front of room number. Even number rooms facing your transport asset, while odd numbered faced the pool and had balconies. The rooms on the ground floor facing the pool are family units with 2 rooms and direct access to the pool.   POOL   The highlight for the kids was the large beautiful pool with an adjunct kiddie pool. It was shallow and circumscribed by many recliners. On both days, there were many children playing in the pool.  Depth ranges from 0.44 to 1.4m.  Pool towels can be borrowed after registering with the clerk and signing on returning. Did not see any changing rooms.   The terrace bar with F&B is nearby offering sandwiches, pizza, seafood ect. Will do another review on pool terrace bar.   SUMMARY   Family-orientated hotel with pool, kids entertainment centre KAMP KWENA. For the kids facilities, gave V good rating. Great place to unwind, relax and recharge!
