First Christian Iv Hotel

Actually, it's probably 3 stars - but thanks to the incredibly nice staff and both afternoon coffee and dinner offered free of charge, it gets to be another star. The room is fairly newly renovated, but the bathroom feels more like a bathroom on a Finland ferry. But never mind - because the house is fantastically beautiful.

Perfect location just across from the train station in a building that used to be a bank, I was upgraded to a superior corner room on floor 5, large room with armchairs, desk and comfortable bed. The bathroom large but in need of renovation, the room lacked iron and ironing board something you had to pick up at reception. Dinner is included in the price, I only had the opportunity to eat it one of three nights and consisted of vegetable soup, salad buffé, meatballs with pasta which did not look appetizing so I had dinner on the town. Breakfast is good with blah waffles.

Finally a good hotel in Kristianstad. Clean and tidy, nice staff. central location and good parking facilities.
