Pros:
- The staff is one of the best I've experienced on my travels - and I travel a lot for work. They went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible, and I couldn't be more grateful for that. Tim and Theo were exceptionally helpful; thank you so much!
- The location is very central but far from the bars and the tourist madness. You can easily walk or rent a bike/scooter to get anywhere in the center.
- breakfasts are amazing, simply amazing. Incredible variety, great taste, and the staff is also awesome.
- the inner yard is a great add-on. it was used both for breakfasts and afternoons (the staff organized a barbecue, free for all guests - how awesome is that??)
- everything was very clean; the facilities, bed sheets, and furniture were clean and new.
(not cons, but things to consider to make your stay 100% awesome just like mine):
- no a/c (but honestly, I came on the hottest days of summer - and of my 5 days, only 2 were hot, and the fan was enough to chill down at night).
- if you come on good weather days, I'd recommend getting a room facing outside (that awesome inner yard has great acoustics, and the noise from people and their kids comes all the way into your open windows. Not applicable on cold and rainy days, obviously ;). "
I asked for a room facing outside, and was very happy during my stay (the street that the hotel is facing is pretty quiet, basically a dead end - and you can't hear much of the adjacent street although it has some traffic on workdays)
