Elite Stadshotellet

Great hotel with a wonderful location. The breakfast was above average, with a good variert of food to choose between. Try the fruit loaf - delicious! The rooms are very comfortable, we had a room in the new wing with views over the river. Super location! The bathroom was spacious enough for our needs. And the beds were very good. Maybe there could have been more wardrobe space, but we managed to unpack and hang up everything in our suitcase. But if you are staying for more than two nights and have several suitcases, be warned. And you must visit the roof terrace - the views are great, and the whole area is very tasteful with good chairs and loungers, and beatifully colour coordinated cushions. Take a dip in the pool if the weather permits! We will certainly be back!

Very good location. Breakfast was good and nice to be able to sit outside and eat. Human error made our room double booked (?). We got a room, the key didn't work, got a new key. Installed us in the room and then went downtown. Once back, the key didn't work again, got a new key. Opens the door and in there is a couple in our bed but our stuff is gone. For some reason they thought we'd checked out and forgotten all about it? All our things were packed and stood at the reception. Got a new room and 175 SEK to shop for at the bar. A little stingy compensation, though. The stay was good at last.

I'd love to come back here. Nice staff, nice rooms. The hotel is centrally located. Great breakfast!! The rooftop bar looked lovely. Couldn't sit there because of the weather. Good food at Bishop Arms which is directly connected to the hotel.
