Best Western Malmia

Difficult to find to the parking lot as it is located in a pedestrian street. The entrance is extremely narrow and the parking lot the same. There is so much space to be able to park to turn around. Many thick posts stand in the way. Had pre-booked parking, but when I finally got in, all places were taken. (Get money back for this). The garage was so crowded that I ended up near a thick post, and was 2cm away to scrap up my car along a thick post. Had to contact help who had to help me out of there. Had to pay 3300kr for this. The room we got, was worn, the bed was small (we were 2 pcs to sleep there), the bathroom was nasty, and the room did not match the pictures. We complained about the room at the reception, and got upgraded to a new room. The new room was therefore no better. Here there was hair in the shower, soap residues in the shower, and the shower shower was in the middle of the floor, which made the whole bath floor wet when you showered. The toilet was very close to the wall, so you almost sat in the dorull holder. We found a black hair in our bed (none of us have black hair). There is a lot of outside noise at night, which makes it difficult to fall asleep. After this one night at the hotel, we decided to request a refund on the entire purchase. We had to contact booking.com, submit photos of the room, and got our money back. Here the hotel service was also helpful. Breakfast is OK.

Great location in the city center,good breakfast

The hotel is very dated but there is nothing functionally wrong with the rooms. I’ve stayed at the Wood Hotel during previous work trips and have visited the Scandic as well. Both offer elevated hotel experiences. If you need a basic room for a work stay or personal visit this hotel works. I will be staying again.
