Hotel Orgryte

Having booked through a third party (Agoda) came to the hotel and was informed that the room was cancelled, had paid 2999,- for the room in advance and was informed that the room could not be cancelled.We received no help from the hotel and were thrown on the street. I have sent several emails but received no reply. Incredibly poor customer treatment. We received no reply as to why the order was cancelled. Just got notified that they have not registered booking number and not received money. Probably they've double booked and given our room to someone else. Worst customer treatment I've ever experienced.

Older hotel, and older interior that needs to be renovated. The rooms lack A/C, which meant that near temp 30C outdoors became extremely hot in the room. 30cm fan was available. Breakfast was quite "meh". Wasn't much choice. Not so much fruit, and the amount of choice of bread was low. There was sour cream, but no flavored yogurt. Berries, and cereal was there. Although the room, and the breakfast left something to be desired, the stay was perfectly acceptable. This is because of the staff, who were very service minded, and responsive. Charlie who was at the reception went above-and-beyond over what I expect from a hotel. *thanks Charlie* 😊

All in all a middle of 3 experience. Animals patkering that was only based on the whole day, very simple breakfast and that it was not possible to get screw off the heat in the room seev if there were tropenets, so was like sleeping in em sauna.
