LANDVETTER AIRPORT

Very good location, very good service, quick response to mail and phone and very pleasant reception at the desk. Good parking options. Did not eat breakfast this time when we slept long, but earlier it has been good. We were due to land at 00:40 but were almost 1h late so nice to not drive 2.5h to Halden after a long day. Transfers to the airport entrance are possible, even in the middle of the night. This was the third time we use the hotel and it will be several times. If you travel with teens, check the discount you get on an extra room. Sovereign when we used it in 2025.

We had to book this hotel at very short notice, under extremely difficult personal circumstances, and one member of our family stayed there alone. The reception team was exceptional — and I want to name Wilma and Sarah in particular. They were attentive, discreet, and genuinely kind, and they went well beyond anything a guest could reasonably expect, without ever being asked and without ever making a show of it. They turned a very hard moment into a manageable one for our family. I won't go into the details, but I will say this: we will not forget them. The hotel itself is practical, comfortable and ideally placed for the airport. But it is the people at reception who make it what it is. Thank you.

Beautiful modern hotel connected with Landvetter by a hallway. Excellent location! Restaurant menu was very limited so we went up to the Best Western and had a delicious meal. Room without a window was so small that we couldn’t open our luggage on the floor—had to use the bed. Could barely walk around the bed at all! I recommend this for convenience but get a bigger room.
