Radisson Blu Riverside Hotel

I recently stayed here with My Husband who is working in Gothenburg. The highlight of my stay was meeting the lovely Lorraine on reception. Every day she would make time to talk with me, give me inspiration to go out and enjoy the city and always with a welcoming smile. She is a joy and a great asset to this company. Also, I’d like to thank Josh for making my birthday special with his kindness and hospitality to me and my friends. Thank you everybody for my lovely stay.Ruth & Chris (TGW).

We had a superior river view room, and the view was indeed nice. All the rest just bearable. No chance to find a parking space in the street. There is a parking house just opposite the hotel, but beware - it is just like street parking, though marked as "video parking". Meaning that you must check in a machine BEFORE and not just pay after (for example like through all Norway). Why reception do not care to explain this!? The room: has a very irregular trapezoid shape with hardly accessible areas. Very inconvenient. The whole wall is a window, so there is no room for the TV. So, they put it on a pole attached to the bed. Even more inconvenient. Breakfast starting late on weekends. Fancy, but a real waste of time for one night travellers. And then the breakfast area was badly overcrowded, the staff failing to keep up with cleaning and refill. Being so far from the center, and considering all this plus the parking fine from the city, I can't say we've got a decent value for money.

Everything was good. Nice area, good facilities, nice staff. Staying there for a weekend. Ok breakfast.
