The hotel is unacceptable on the weekend. Despite earplugs, sleep was impossible until 4 AM due to the nightclub. Top location. It smelled strongly of cleaning products, probably to mask the odor of the old carpets in the hallway.

The location is certainly positive, as being closer to the train station is almost impossible. The building has obviously aged, and unfortunately, little has been done to eliminate the obvious signs of wear. Overall, the building gave me a shabby impression. The air was generally very stuffy, partly with a moldy smell, which can surely not be attributed only to the warm weather. I could also observe this in a colleague's room. My shower was unclean (drain full of hair), and the mattress was made of foam, which was very uncomfortable in the overheated room. Instead of an air conditioning unit, there was a "ventilation tower," which produced more warm air than cool.
In summary: For accommodation of this quality, the price of CHF 129 is definitely excessive, especially since there was no option for breakfast.

The only real advantage of this property is its location directly opposite the train station. While convenient, it also means constant exposure to the noise and disturbances that often come with such an area, including loud groups and intoxicated individuals late at night.
The building feels like a soulless 1980s office or factory block rather than a hotel. The rooms are dated, tired, and in desperate need of renovation. The mattresses, furnishings, and amenities have clearly seen better days.
What is truly unacceptable, however, is the complete lack of soundproofing. I could hear virtually every conversation, movement, door closing, and activity in neighboring rooms and the corridor. Privacy and a good night's sleep are simply not possible.
There is effectively no service at all—just a self-check-in system and little else. Given the absence of hospitality, the outdated facilities, and the poor comfort level, the rates are astonishingly high.
Overall, this property is massively overpriced for what it offers. It feels more like a budget lodging house masquerading as a hotel and delivers very poor value for money.
