Hotel Schutzen

The hotel is very well located, the staff is very pleasant (despite the fact that the waitress forgot my order during breakfast but that can happen and I do not hold it against her). The hotel benefits from a private parking lot which is very appreciable. The rooms and bathroom are clean, I have nothing to complain about. The rooms have been redone and with taste (modern and old at the same time). I like it 👍. There are a few disadvantages nonetheless, starting with the lack of air conditioning. Given the current heat, this lack of air conditioning is felt. Another negative point, if you want to sleep with the window open (because it is hot), it is quite noisy. On the other hand, once the window is closed, you do not hear anything. Last negative point and not the least, the bed is very small.

check in was easy, parking was a little confusing since you cant drive right up to the door and it was nighttime when we arrived. room was very big and bed was comfortable; and big enough for 2 shower was nice and big bit water pressure was very light grant you we where on the 3 floor. room stayed nice and warm without overheating. breakfast was fine nothing out of the ordinary the service lady was very nice and attentive we had the new year dinner also and that was lacking to be more specific the main dish was a failure we had the m eat and the vegetal option and both equally failed the potato's felt and tasted like the had been made in the morning and where just warmed up would we stay there again yes but maybe not have the special menu

We were at the Ret today for a coffee stop. Shoot. The Mood leaves nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, the Service left to be desired. The staff was not of the opinion that some did not want coffee but rather a tea or an ovi. The desire for a Coke was also rejected. And we had to pay for all the croissants even though only a few were consumed. Finally, we should also pay more than the price agreed in advance.
