If there was a negative rating I would give one to Vivo Living of New Braunfels. We applied for an apartment and got a provisional approval approximately 3 weeks prior to getting a final determination. We were told approved for an apartment with the condition of providing a copy of a social security card. We sent a copy, and was told we most show the original card. Since we couldn’t find ours (never needed anything but to remember the number) we were told a document from social security would suffice saying we applied for a replacement. After driving to Social Security office and spending 2 hours there the document we were told was missing a stamp (we were have never asked to get a stamped document initially). We offered to go to the Social Security office to asked about a stamp but we were told their decision was final. The application was denied, and one of the reasons given was that the documents were not from the Social Security office, which is simply not true. This determination was made because we said we can go down to get it stamped instead of saving we would “return” to office to get it stamped. As a result of being strung along for 3 weeks we will be potentially homeless when our existing lease is up in a little more then 24 hours from this horrible ordeal, and out $200 for the application fee.

This room was gross. They left the lotion from a previous customer in our bathroom and when I did not throw it away they left it again the next day all set up with the new shampoo and conditioner like they had brougnt a new bottle. The caulk in the bathroom could be done better by my 4 year old. The bathroom ceilind was moldy. The walls were dirty and the paintjob was done by a definite amatuer who had no cloth to wipe up his spills and paint overs.

Booked thru Priceline to go tubing. Upon checking in, I immediately contacted Priceline, because no where meets 3star rating. Run down, old, smelly, dirty, rats, sketchy area with suspicious activity. Staff were friendly. Owner was visibly working long hours to clean, repair, etc; however front reception would not approve a cancellation and refund...only moved us to a "better" room that so happen to be available. The last morning we were there, we were awakened by rats running through the room. Stay Away. This place needs major work. More like a 1 star motel.
