Hotel Platzhirsch

Cute hotel, very small rooms, and very hot in the rooms. Our room was directly above the entrance next door to a bar that is open all night, so having the window open help with the temperature, but not the noise. The staff was extremely friendly. Very walkable to nightlife.

Room no 14 was newly refurbished and air conditioned which was great as who expected 32 degrees in Zurich in May. The staff from checkin to checkout at midday were wonderful . They were helpful without being annoying and seemed very proud of their spotless hotel

Hotel Platzhirsch is in an excellent location that is walking distance from the center of Zurich. The hotel itself is cozy and warm. The rooms have enough size for 2 travelers to unpack and not feel like they’re stepping over luggage. Even though there is a busy street nearby, you really can’t hear the commotion from the rooms.
