The room here was all about the balcony -- a wonderful experience to "come home to", throwing open the double doors onto the view of the Aare River. The room was comfortable, great sleep quality - only things we wished we had were a larger shower and a mini-fridge. But that dreamy view and the breakfast buffet made up for any minor shortcomings.

What a friendly staff and stay in this hotel! we had a wonderful view of the mountains and river with cool breeze as we sat on the balcony. this is a rough 5 minutes walk from the Interlaken West train station. When we went, they were going through construction but that didn't deter us. The staff offered us water when we arrived and fresh fruit of plums. every morning, those fresh plums were our snacks so thank you very much for this! this hotel was the only hotel that offered us daily fresh fruits that we greatly appreciate! mom was very happy that during breakfast, the staff made delicious hot chocolate for her that wasn't in the form of hot milk with a hot chocolate mix that we had to stir ourself. our room was very clean and comfortable to stay in. though I do wish we had better pillows as they were all pretty flat (that is the only reason why I am docking points) the hotel is close by several shops and restaurants so you will have no problem finding something to do or eat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who was staying in Interlake!

The hotel was very convenient and close to Interlaken west station. However it wasn’t worth the 750+ you pay for it. The bed was not comfortable and had dirt on the sheets. Staff seemed a bit rude.
