Merkur Hotel Interlaken

I had the best time staying at Hotel Merkur. The service was amazing. Joanna, Susana, and Dalila were all so helpful. Great location across from the Interlaken West train station, very easy to find. Clean rooms and great breakfast with a view on the top floor outside terrace. Can't wait to stay here again.

We had an excellent 2 night stay here. The location is fantastic, Interlaken West is right outside. Rooms itself are quite large for Swiss standards and very clean. The view from the rooms are beautiful. Breakfast is included and there is a very nice spread of pastries, hot food and cold food, overlooking the beautiful Swiss Alps. Lots of restaurants close by and also a Coop and Migros. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10 would love to come back.

We had an excellent experience at the Merkur Hotel in Interlaken, certainly the best hotel of our entire trip. Its location is unbeatable, directly opposite the train terminal, making it extremely comfortable to move around and organize excursions. From check-in we were attended by the hotel owner in person and in the afternoon we were also assisted by Meri, a super friendly Spaniard who helped us a lot with the language and everything we needed. They even had the gesture of opening breakfast much earlier than usual so that we could eat something before the departure of our train, something that we highly value. In addition, we were given a card to use public transport for free, which was a great benefit during the stay. The room was very comfortable and the views from the window towards the Alps were very beautiful. I definitely recommend it and hope to stay there again.
