We were able to be guests at Astrid's as part of a hiking week with the Active Age Horw group. We were well taken care of by the hostess Astrid and her family; Astrid always had an open ear. With humor and wit, she accompanied us throughout the week in the purest Valais dialect. We were also spoiled with culinary delights. Nothing was left to be desired. Would love to come back again! A great week-long stay ... we can only praise: A very friendly welcome with comprehensive information. A large and quiet room with an exit to the terrace for relaxing. After the 2024 flood, the entire house has been carefully renovated and furnished. Rich, well-maintained breakfast buffet with friendly service staff. Very good food as half-board - with appropriate portions, no "food waste". Managed as an authentic family business ... "you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend". In the newly renovated restaurant we felt very comfortable. The service was very attentive and friendly. The Cordon bleu were outstandingly good. The second night we had pizza. They were a little less delicious. There's some room for improvement.
