I booked a room here for 4 nights at 240.– CHF per night and am extremely disappointed. The photos in the main gallery on the booking platforms convey a completely different, modern impression than what actually awaits you on site. Condition, hygiene & smell: With its bare concrete hallways and gloomy look, the wing feels more like a civil defense shelter. In addition, there was a pungent, biting stench in the hallway – presumably coming from the open communal toilets. Sanitary facilities & equipment: It was a shared floor bathroom and toilet for the entire floor. There were not even towels provided in the room. Price-performance: For this simple hostel standard, a price of 240.– CHF per night is completely exaggerated. My wife simply refused to follow after she saw the pictures and the conditions. Departure & Alternative: The management reacted to my objective feedback in an offended and stubborn manner. I left the hotel immediately after the first night and moved into a hotel with real comfort in St. Moritz for the remaining 3 nights at a similar price – after which my wife was then able to join me without any problems. Zero goodwill in service: Although I had paid for 4 nights and left the hotel after only one night, the establishment was completely stubborn and refused any refund for the 3 unused nights via the platform ("Cancellation on the day of arrival is not possible"). For backpackers on a very small budget, the place may have a reason to exist, but by no means at this price, with this stench, this lack of goodwill, and the misleading presentation. Absolutely not recommended!
